Each referee must be have the appropriate equipment when they officiate at any game. Below is a list of the Equipment all officials (referee, assistant or 4th official) MUST have with them when they attend a game:

  • Black FNSW Referees Shirt

  • Yellow FNSW Referees Shirt

  • Black Shorts

  • Black Socks

  • Boots

  • Digital Watch (with a stopwatch function)

  • 2 x Whistle

  • Notebook

  • Yellow/Red Cards

  • 2 x Pens

  • 2 x Assistants Flags

The following are items of equipments are OPTIONAL for referees to have with them:

  • Black FNSW Referees Cap

  • Long Sleeve FNSW Referees Shirt (Black or Yellow)

  • A second digital watch (in case you lose the first one)

  • SSFRA Referees Tracksuit (Provided by SSFRA to Permanent Members of the Branch)

  • Blue FNSW Referees Casual Shirt (To be worn when arriving/leaving the game)
